Discounted Sponsor Registrations
Sponsors that are sending staff to the conference for the intent of interacting only in the meeting space or networking table assigned will be able to register their staff at the discounted rates of:
$500 (members rate) | $600 (non-members)
This discounted rate does not include a hotel room request, however, you can request to be added to the room block waiting list.
For budgeting purposes:
The room rate: $345 plus taxes and fees
Approximate per night fee is $403, plus one time portage charge of $15 during your stay.
Room Rate Cut Off: July 16, 2021
There are many properties near the Waldorf Astoria that can be contacted for room nights. The only official block of rooms is at the Waldorf Astoria and we will not be adding rooms until if/when the block is sold out.
Hotel Room Requests
Only registered sponsors or attendees will have access to room reservations. If you have requested a room, the hotel will contact you using the contact information provided during registration for payment information to confirm your room.
Restaurant Buy Outs
California MBA has an all-space hold and a non-compete clause that will be strongly enforced. If a sponsor would like a restaurant buy-out they can request by contacting Jennifer.Alliss@waldorfastoria.com
Outdoor space for sponsor receptions
Sponsors have the opportunity to host dinners and/or receptions in California MBA held outdoor spaces. They will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Hotel Capacity and Masks
As of June 15, 2021, the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort will be open fully. All meeting spaces, outdoor spaces, and restaurants will be at full capacity. Until further notice the mask mandate will still be enforced inside the common indoor areas of the hotel.
Networking Tables/Exhibit hall
As a sponsor, you have the option to secure a networking table. This table will be approximately 60” round with up to 10 chairs and it will be draped. This year, there will not be a designated exhibit hall, so sponsors will not need to ship large pop-up booths, though if you have a meeting space (Platinum and Titanium) you can decorate it as you see fit.

All Attendee Party
The California MBA, along with designated sponsors, will be hosting an All Attendee Party on Tuesday, August 24 on the Grand Lawn. Sponsors and attendees are encouraged to come to the party for networking, fun, food and libations. Live music will be playing and dancing encouraged!
